TAGUCI: Programs and Actions TAGUCI is a member of TAG-Org which was established 1972 Our academic programs are all at Graduate Levels and supplemented by internships in the Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global in 100 countries. TAGUCI s aim is to prepare students for leadership positions in their specialized fields. TAGUCI is committed to always develop new programs that help our students meet the demands of the ever-changing global economy. To help achieve our goal of encouraging innovation, TAGUCI will offer any student who develops an innovative project that is patentable a grant that covers the cost of their tuition once over. Furthermore, Abu Ghazaleh Intellectual Property (AGIP), the largest Intellectual Property Company in the world, will assist in registering their patent for them.
Why GLOB-SM Program in Jordan Vision - To be the first program in preparing specialists and managers in Global SCM. Tasks - Focus on providing an integrated program that contains advanced courses in the field of SCM and preparing creative experiences in leading SCM in Jordan and international countries. Objectives - The master's program in global SCM is to respond to the urgent need for a program in higher education in this field, as it will be a distinguished and pioneering program to meet the great demand for leaders and specialists in the Jordanian, regional and global labor market. A focused education to address specific needs of the region (in the areas of the food supply chain, maritime and humanitarian logistics).
Significance of GLOB-SM Program A direct response to the requirements of the local and global market in various sectors. A shortage of specialists and managers with skills compatible with the ever-increasing opportunities in SCM, especially what the world witnessed during the Corona pandemic and international wars. Students will be introduced to the important business environment in SCM and logistics and will have the opportunity to study different courses in supply chain, production, operations management, and training in more than one area. This program is designed to meet the needs of students who intend to work in business with innovation after graduation.
TAGUCI Role in GLOB-SM Program Provide innovative teaching and research with industry-informed research that support graduate programs. Linkages with local and international institutes in Jordan and worldwide via 100 offices established by TAG-Org that brings experiences from top experts in management, technology, IT, engineering, food industry, food manufacturing, accounting and auditing, Intellectual Property, manufacturing, digital tool kits and digital transformation. TAGUCI has training and consultation center and digital academy, which are key providers for innovative training, entrepreneurship and digital transformation. TAGUCI supports students to have internship at TAG-org and various industries in Jordan. 5
Objectives & Outcomes Main objectives and outcomes for TAGUCI To develop and implement a new program (MS- Global SCM) that will be available for students in Jordan and the region, which will be a super supportive for student satisfaction and career opportunities To develop inter institutional collaboration at TAGUCI, between universities in Jordan, regional universities and European universities TAGUCI Expansion of staff and student exchange mobility as well as strengthening of institutional impact research cooperation Forming a hub of experts in SCM at local and global levels in order to lead industry informed- research and funded projects 6
