What is e-Krishi? Government process re-engineering to make processes simple and standardized across the schemes. One time registration of farmers of Goa and providing them with a smart card i.e. KRISHI CARD e- Krishi Online processing of subsidy Uniqueland coding system to applications through workflow based categorize the ownership of land software
Challenges faced before the introduction of e-Krishi 1 Lack of data on farmers and land holding. 2 Too many verification/ inspection layers - workload on officers- hence delay of 90-150 days in releasing subsidies. 3 Duplication of Records, Paper work resulting in time delay.
Benefits to the stakeholders 01 Farmer Krishi cards issued to over 31,000 farmers- all farmers, landless and caretakers are included Minimum paperwork along with faster and transparent processing. Check application status with SMS/Email/Helpdesk 65 services are fully online for Farmers and businesses 02 Department Decrease in number of steps -faster disposal of cases De- duplication and correct Identification of beneficiary across the schemes; hence no leakages. Customized analysis and reporting tool for Decision support system. 03 Other stakeholders Agricultural input dealers and suppliers now interact and apply via online mode and do online payment. Banks and lending agencies are being provided Krishi card details to ascertain farmer s credit worthiness and duplicate lending.
Saligaon Solid Waste Management Facility Capacity of the plant is 100-110 MT of garbage treatment per day. A state of the art solid waste treatment plant operated by Hindustan Waste Treatment Pvt. Ltd. STP Treatment of segregated garbage : Larger than 80 mm : packed as Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF) Less than 80mm: subjected to OREX technology Organic waste: converted as fertilizer and sold. Segregation of garbage is done by a conveyor belt along with manual monitoring.

Highlights of RFC Applicant intimated about inspection scheduled via SMS Complete work flow application Provides reminders to each registered entity for renewal before financial year RFC Time bound service delivery All data and documents are digitized, thus eliminating paper work A Generalized Dashboard to assist in faster decision making Apply at Registration, Facilitation Center (RFC) with supporting documents. Instant renewal of taxi application on the date of application submission. Auto Fee / Arrears calculation at the time of Verification. Checklist based system generated recommendation on approval/rejection of application. Eliminated various levels in existing system to reduce processing days of application.
Challenges faced before the introduction of RFC 1 Data of tourism related activities was not available centrally. Data was available only in files. 2 Manual verification of payment was resulting in time delay for renewals / processing of applications. 3 Certificates issued were not collected by applicants and were lying in department files.
Current Registration of Tourism Activity at RFC Exit 4 6 days days Inspection Officer conducts the inspection, uploads the Inspection Report and forwards the same to the Prescribed Authority for necessary action. Collects the Payment of fees done by Applicant & Issues Cash Receipt. Issues the Registration Certificate / No Objection Certificate / Licenses to operate the Tourism Activity. Authorizes the application forwarded and approves Issuance of Certificate if application found to be complete and correct. Cashier / Certificate Issuance Counter Prescribed Authority Inspection Officer 2 2 days days Registering Officer Office Assistant Verification Officer Entrance Verification Officer verifies the documents Inwarded. Inspection Date & Time is auto fixed by the system based on the set schedule and approved by the verifying officer. A day end report of Inspections to be conducted taluka wise will be generated and forwarded to Inspection Committee. Verifies each and every document submitted by the Applicant as per the type of Registration. Generates Acknowledgment No and gives it to Applicant to trace the Application Status. Forwards the application to the Office Assistant. Feeds the Application Uploads Relevant Docs Attached. Forwards the Application along with system generated recommendation (based on compliance to check list)to the verification officer

Governance at District level is simplified. Well-defined time lines set for each and every step involved in processing the applications and streamlining of the workflow. 1 The Village Level services connect applicant s personal data with their documents. Hence, online reusability of documents is possible while applying for any other certificate. 2 Through the village level delivery e-governance and m-Governance has been decentralized by ensuring last mile connectivity right up-to the village panchayat. SMS alerts to keep the applicant updated on status of the application. 3
Governance at District level is simplified. The system has an ability to communicate, exchange data, and use the information that has been exchanged, thus creating linkages between the citizens, the District Administration and the line departments. 4 5 The service covers all the 5 Talukas and 107 village panchayats of North Goa Districts, thus benefiting a total population of over 7 lakh.
