Marketing Shop Each team will be given a budget of 50 to market and promote their business idea. Marketing Type Presentation Cost Social Media Ad reaching 10,000+ people Design a social media ad 30 Design a website homepage Website 35 Design the front of a leaflet Leaflet bundle of 1000+ 15 Poster Design a poster 20
As part of your campaign, you must also read out a Target Customer narrative. This should be 6-10 sentences about the type of people that would mostly be interested in your products and why you think your marketing strategies will reach those people
This challenge is about creativity and initiative so be creative and show initiative!
Presentation Time Each team will have up to 3 minutes to present their campaign to the class You must include your target customer narrative, which should be read out by one member of your team
Peer Assessment Each team must leave their work neatly on their desks. Work should be neatly labelled at the top, with your team name and what each piece of work represents - e.g. Website home page Leaflet etc. In your teams, go around to each other team s work. Quietly evaluate each teams creative campaign amongst your own team members - then take the opportunity to write the following on the scrap paper provided next to that team s work: WWW:____ This stands for what went well so write down what you generally think is the best thing about that team s creative campaign. Then write: EBI:____ This stands for Even better if so write what you think could be done to make their creative campaign even better than it already is! When you have done that, you must sign your team s name at the end of your written feedback. You will be given 5 minutes to do this for each team. We will then have a group evaluation
Did you remember Tagline?Remember how important a tagline can be in marketing! Logo? Did you design a logo and make sure it could be seen on your marketing material? Referral or promo code?Remember that these are great ways of attracting new customers! Free social media page?Remember what was said about making the most of free platforms! As well as designing the marketing services you paid for, you could have taken the initiative to design a free social media page
