Universities Main goals: attract new talented associates get students interested and involved in IT/open source educate and prepare for work at Red Hat/with Red Hat products Cooperating with 12+ universities (.CZ and .SK) Primarily Brno fi.muni.cz, fit.vutbr.cz
Courses at University(ies) Lectures run by Red Hat associates. Typically 7x2 hours. Courses: Development in Ruby Python Language Integration with Jboss Cloud Computing Advanced Topics of Linux administration
Thesis Program Students work on a bachelor or diploma thesis under our supervision Technical supervisor from Red Hat helps them with technical aspects and teaches basic open source principles Currently offering 140+ topics Apx. 70 students every year submit a thesis https://diplomky.redhat.com/
Internship program Internship for students from universities and high schools for technical and non-technical roles Typically for one year, starts anytime Associates fully involved in teams, present in office Most converted after one year to regular employees Currently around 140+ students in the office. Most interns come from thesis programme, courses, ..
