Exemption practice Exemption Information All students in all grades may earn exemptions for all of their semester exams if the following criteria are met: B average (unweighted) semester grade in the course(s) you are wanting to exempt No more than 4 unexcused absences in any one class. Flex included. No assignments to ISS or ASAC No tardy infractions for the semester. A tardy infraction occurs once you have been sent to the appropriate administrator for a 5th tardy. Please Note: Students who take an AP exam in May will be exempt from the Spring semester exam in the associated course, as long as the above criteria is met. Not meeting the attendance, tardy, or behavior criteria in a single course removes the opportunity to exempt any semester exams. The principal will review attendance and SAC/ASAC assignments. Only students who meet the attendance, SAC/ASAC, and Tardy requirements will be eligible to exempt. It will be the responsibility of the teacher to determine if the grade criteria has been met for exemption eligible students.
