IV. LOCAL ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT . no Market places designed and stands allocated equally to women, men and youth. council does not have any entrepreneurship schemes save for those provided by ministry of affairs and youth Council has signed MOUs with NGOs and partners who assist in the promotion to access to finance for local entrepreneurs council allocate tenders to women-owned businesses especially those who provide catering services for council meetings and workshops
V. INFRASTRUCTURE AND SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT Land and housing Sex disaggregated data of land allocations for council & community beneficiaries. A the moment we do not have Sex disaggregated data but we are in the process of formulating an inclusive database . VI. SEXUAL AND REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH, HIV AND AIDS Council has signed MOUs with almost 12 partners who promote SRHR Women, men, people living with disability, and youth have equal access to treatment. Council has 22 clinics and is still constructing more in the wards and it is also working with the ministry of health. Council supports outreach programmes by ministry of health and partners Government and council schools have trained teachers
VII. GENDER BASED VIOLENCE List key actions council has taken towards: Prevention-SASA program supported by NAC and Bantwana Zim Public awareness -conducting one stop centres Response and coordination - there is a toll free line 08080548 manned by Bantwana Zim and there is a GBV committee Support and empowerment- there is a safe shelter stationed at TDH and Emthonjeni womens forum
VIII. CLIMATE JUSTICE climate change policy is i the process of formulation There is a CBO which assists in waste management cleanups and recycling of waste The council has embarked on climate resilient projects e.g steel roofing for infrastructure

CHALLENGES Having no female legislators and managers
LESSON LEARNED AND INNOVATION What we have been learnt from the hub is that for gender programming to progress well there has to be equal presentation of both female and male governance
SUSTAINABILITY AND REPLICATION For the COE, hub and spoke work to be sustained within our organisation there should be exchanged visits by legislators and managers
