WMO Unified Data Policy RB role RB accepted to take the lead in task #4 regarding data exchange with the research community; To understand user perspectives regarding what more is needed (consultation via a planned symposium ?). To increase awareness, advocacy, developing case studies on good practices and benefit during the consultation process with research and data producing partners; To increase awareness of the products that are already available for free and unrestricted access and use; To advocate for including data collected and owned by the research bodies in the data base. #4: Members should provide without charge access to all recommended data to public research and education communities for non-commercial activities
