  2. Those who practice their righteousness to be seen by people have no reward from the Father in heaven. Jesus talked about WHEN we: give, pray and fast Father is IN secret, knows everything that is IN secret and rewards IN secret.

  3. Hypocrites: who acts pretentiously, a counterfeit, a man who speaks or acts under a feigned character. A person whose profession does not match their practice. Someone who says one thing and does another. A dismantler; one who hides the true facts One who practices true righteousness is doing his righteous acts for an audience of One: Heavenly Father. Eternal reward One s focus in life, is where he stores his treasure. It is a matter of the heart Hypocrites: hupokrites one who answers .an actor; one

  4. clear eye: single focus which prevents an overcomplicated life. If your eye is clear,(spiritually perceptive) your body will be full of light. But if your eye is bad, (spiritually blind), your whole body will be full of darkness NO light of God If then the light that is in you (no conscience) is darkness, how great is that darkness. I John 1:5 clear eye : haplous simple, single, unfolded referring to a I John 1:5 God is Light and in Him is no darkness at all

  5. Wealth: treasure a person trusts in; what is trusted in. Possessions, earnings, a designation of material value, materialism. I John 2:15 of the Father is not in him. Agape 2 Cor. 4:18 eternal, not the temporal Heb. 12:1 Fixing : aphorao: to look away from all else. Ant: to ignore Wealth: mamonas the personification of riches.   8. Do not.worry: merimnao: to be drawn in opposite directions, literally pulled apart. Worrying can be closely associated with storing up treasures on earth. If we are part of the kingdom of heaven, we are not to worry about what we will eat, drink or wear. Father KNOWS and provides. Do not judge so that you will not be judged (hypocritical condemnation Scribes and Pharisees based it on THEMSELVES) The standard of measurement for the scribes and Pharisees was their OWN. But Jesus taught us to use God s standard. The hypocrites were judging others for things they themselves were guilty of, pretending to be righteous. They didn t have a clear eye .
