  1. Pantzartzi Eleni r3 My 10 favorite movies Dead poets society This movie is one of the all-time favorites. It starts with a class of boys attending a really strict, private high school when all of the sudden things change. A new teacher takes over the class, he orders them to rip out some pages of their books, step on their seats and desks, he overall teaches them how to follow their dreams not listening to what others want them to do or be. This film, despite it being old, is talked about daily as everyone who watches it is amazed of the impact that teachers and professors could have on their students and, in general, how far somebody should go to chase their dreams. The perks of being a wallflower This movie is about a boy who is not too sociable, he finds it hard to meet new people or introduce himself in person so he writes letters. As the plot goes by, the boy meets a small group of friends and starts acting like a normalteenager , at that point the movie shows the problems of teenage years. The boy writes about his first time falling in love, smoking, drinking alcohol, which are some of the main dangers of growing up as well as depression, messing with illegal substances and addictions. This movie seems to be very popular around teenagers it teaches you how to be happy appreciating little things even when nothing goes your way.

  2. The fault in our stars The fault in our stars focuses on two people, a girl who suffers from cancer, during her final days she falls in love with a charming cancer survivor, they explore life together, they find its true meaning. Their romance is bittersweet as they deal with loss, leaving an impact on each other s life. The true message behind The fault in our stars is the resilience of love and the beauty of living fully even in the face of tragedy. It teaches that life s worth is not measured by its length but by its depth. Tall girl Tall girl follows a 16-year-old girl dealing with insecurities because of her being the tallest girl in school. Navigating bullies and self-doubt. She learns how to embrace her uniqueness and stand tall both literally and figurately. This movie has a way deeper meaning as the protagonist is a girl who, as a dancer, got actually bullied because of her height and long arms. The reason this film is talked about so much is because it teaches people that despite of their differences they can be the most beautiful, it is all a matter of vision. Inside out This is a cartoon film emphasizing on the human emotions. It depicts firstly the main emotions such as happiness, sadness, anger etc. under different circumstances in Riley s, a little girl, life growing up. During the second movie some more characters-emotions appear in Riley s mind. Anxiety, jealousy, nostalgia come to take over Riley s mind while in teenage years. Many people recommend this movie to every age despite it being a cartoon as it explains in simple terms how emotions work.

  3. Wonder This movie is heartwarming due to it focusing on a little boy who is different from other kids its age because of the way he looks. He is alone at school and other kids even pick on him for looking funny and scary as they say. The little boy only has his family by his side who try to show him how beautiful he really is. In the end the boy finds himself and that is when the movie leaves a statement that it is not about the way you look but the way you think. Most kids and especially teenagers nowadays deal with self-doubt due to their looks so this film for many of them could be a life lesson. Step up Step up is an all-time classic film. It revolves around the culture of dance and all of the different kinds of it depicting how a classical style, for example ballet, could go up against modern ones and still both of them have the same exact worth. Even, in the end, it adds an enormous event where all kind of dancers take parts to dance to a song leading to the best experimental dance routine. Five feet apart The meaning behind Five feet apart is try to make the best out of life even when you know that eventually you will lose everything. It starts with a girl who suffers from a lung disease which makes her leave her home at times and live inside of a hospital. A boy, suffering from the same thing lives life to the fullest. Those two people cannot be next to each other because they could even die. Eventually those two fall in love and, as the plot goes by, they make the best out of life together. In the end, the girl has to move forward getting an implant while having to leave her love behind. The messages of the film are countless and so are the heartwarming feelings and the chills that watchers get.

  4. Maestro in blue Maestro in blue is a Greek series which depicts several daily life problems. It shows the two main families of the island facing problems such as domestic violence within the family, coming outs, illegal money coming in, parents breaking up, age gap romance, even murder. It is believed that this movie is one of the best Greek movies ever made. It depicts the problems of society nowadays and how no one does something about them even though they do know what is going on. The actors of the series are extraordinary and the plot too interesting for people not to watch. Overall, this series is one of a kind. Through My Window Through My Window follows Raquel, a teenage girl secretly in love with her mysterious neighbor Ares. Their connection deepens unexpectedly, unraveling secrets and exploring themes of love, desire, and personal growth. This movie could be both a teenage movie and a movie for older people as it contains interesting plot and characteristics of all age categories.
