  2. SCANNING WE PRIDE OURSELVES ON OUR RELATIONSHIPS BUT FOUND THAT MANY OF OUR CHILDREN COULD NOT RELATE TO INDIVIDUAL MEMBERS OF STAFF. FLAKEFLEET PRIMARY SCHOOL

  3. FOCUS WE WANTED TO DEVELOP A SENSE OF ASPIRATION ACROSS THE SCHOOL COMMUNITY AND HAVING CONSISTENTLY HIGH EXPECTATIONS IN ALL AREAS OF OUR LEARNING. OUR CHILDREN FIND IT DIFFICULT TO COMMUNICATE WHAT LEARNING MEANS FOR THEM. FLAKEFLEET PRIMARY SCHOOL

  4. HUNCH ARE WE CONSISTENT ENOUGH IN OUR EXPECTATIONS THROUGHOUT ALL AREAS OF SCHOOL LIFE? WE ARE INCREASING THE OPPORTUNITIES FOR OUR LEARNERS TO UNDERSTAND AND SHOW WHAT POSITIVE BEHAVIOUR FOR LEARNING LOOKS LIKE. FLAKEFLEET PRIMARY SCHOOL

  5. NEW PROFESSIONAL LEARNING CREATION OF A TEAM OF PROFESSIONALS ACROSS THE WHOLE SCHOOL COMMUNITY WHO REPRESENT THE VARIETY OF EXPERTISE THAT WE ARE ABLE TO PROVIDE. OUR REMIT IS TO BUILD A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF THE EXPERIENCES OUR LEARNERS RECEIVE AND HOW THE ENQUIRY PROCESS CAN ENABLE US TO EVALUATE AND IMPROVE. FLAKEFLEET PRIMARY SCHOOL

  6. TAKING ACTION A SCHOOL-WIDE FOCUS TO INSTIL BELIEF IN OUR LEARNERS THAT ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE #DARETODREAM EVERY CHILD SHARES AN ASPIRATION AND THE SCHOOL ACTS UPON IT. EACH CHILD HAS A PUPIL PASSPORT THAT ALLOWS THEM TO SHARE WHO THEY ARE AS LEARNERS. FLAKEFLEET PRIMARY SCHOOL

  7. CHECKING WE AIM TO HAVE ALL STAFF AWARE OF THE PROCESS AND ALL OF OUR LEARNERS ENGAGED WITHIN IT. #DARETODREAM WILL BE A LEGACY FOR OUR LEARNERS THAT WILL BE REFLECTED UPON AND REFERRED TO ACROSS ALL AREAS OF SCHOOL LIFE. FLAKEFLEET PRIMARY SCHOOL

REFLECTIONS/ADVICE OUR INITIAL REFLECTION CENTRED AROUND A REALISATION THAT KNOWING OUR CHILDREN HAS HUGE SIGNIFICANCE WHEN UNDERSTANDING THEM AS LEARNERS AND THAT THEY NEED THE TIME AND SKILLS TO BUILD THIS FOR THEMSELVES. CONSISTENCY WILL BE VITAL AND ENSURING ALL STAKEHOLDERS IN OUR SCHOOL COMMUNITY UNDERSTAND THE PROCESS AND APPRECIATE IT S IMPORTANCE. FLAKEFLEET PRIMARY SCHOOL
