INSTITUTE OF OPHTHALMOLOGY Annual Leave Annual Leave Important to take annual leave during the lockdown period. We are all working hard and in new and different ways, so now more than ever we need to give ourselves time to rest. Although we need to stay in lockdown, annual leave can give us an opportunity to do something fun, creative or different, learn something new, read those books that you got for Christmas, or concentrate on self-care activities. You are encouraged to take your annual leave Leave year from 1 October to 30 September All staff can automatically carry over 7 annual leave days (increase from usual 5 days). Separate arrangement for key workers

INSTITUTE OF OPHTHALMOLOGY Core Hours Core Hours In order to bring more flexibility and provide support to people with childcare and caring responsibilities, we re introducing a core hours system at IoO. We re asking that all key meetings and events involving more than four people take place between 10am and 12pm, and between 2 and 4pm. Please make any effort to schedule meetings at those times.
