I worked with political news experts and a pollster to draft questions about anticipated subject areas and outcomes for each event. I edited these for appropriate voice for the audience and for optimum readability on the television screen and within the interactive UX. As events unfolded I posted appropriate questions to the audience. I also on occasion wrote, edited, and posted new questions on the fly. Multi-page Xbox LIVE dash hub sustained over 11 weeks. We worked with many content partners to provide a compelling destination for information about the elections. I managed a small team of two editorial producers and a production designer to update 6+ pages with the latest news and supplemental video content and polls on a daily basis, reviewing each tile for image, copy, and destination before it went live. Mix of content and headline strategy evolved over time as data became available to base changes upon. Content included: Ongoing news coverage from NBC News Daily poll with demographic integration Get out the vote programming in partnership with Rock the Vote Supplemental video content from Comedy Central, BBC, Saturday Night Live, WSJ, MSN

TIME 10/17/2012 "Microsoft says individual responses to poll questions totaled over two million, each question averaging 35,000 to 40,000 responses apiece. The company says all of that makes the second presidential debate on Xbox LIVE one of the largest single-screen interactive TV experiences in history. I don t doubt it." Matt Peckham, TIME
Forbes 8/24/2012 Microsoft s LIVE service has given the company a distinct edge over competitors Sony and Nintendo when it comes to interactive television and live events like the presidential debates. David Ewalt, Forbes
