Lack of On Demand Baggage Tags with Barcodes capable of being scanned Lack of Baggage Transfer Messages (BTMs) for when IATCI fails Lack of other airline (OAL) Flight Schedules in the Check-In Carriers system to identify or validate downline flight numbers Lack of IATCI Messaging Capabilities It doesn t make sense to interline transfer bags if they re likely to get delayed by manual correction work at a downline airport and cause customer disappointment at the final destination.
