PART A- Regular Internship at Assigned Schools Expectation Essay (max 500 words) For guidelines check portfolio. Approval letter (t.b.a) & Attendance Sheet Visiting a. school Timetabling Contact Info Sheet Informing us and bringing a copy of contact info sheet Making access arrangements 15 hours of observation 7 Tasks / Observation forms 7 Critical Notes Observation Final Report Professionalism
PART B- Building Bridges Preparing lesson plans Developing / Adapting materials Feedback / Approval Planning Teaching Session Reflection form & Each being 100 minutes (50+ 50) Teaching Four times Fillin in peer- observation form form 8 times (100 minutes each) 15-16hours of peer observation Observing peers Video recording teaching sessions Uploading the videos to our youtube channel Attending Feedback Sessions Final Report Professionalism
RESPONSIBILITIES Please read guidelines (Resources at english.neu.edu.tr) Be punctual, Dress properly, Follow submission deadlines, Do not leave the completion of portfolio to last day, Notes neatly copied (have them checked frequently for feedback), Professional attitude and equal distance with parties involved.
RESPONSIBILITIES Lesson plan submissions: (to your supervisor) Monday group: Submission should be on Wednesdays Wednesday group: Submission should be on Mondays Recording video sessions and uploading: Monday group: Should be available on Wednesdays Wednesday group: Should be available on Thursdays ((because your supervisor needs time to watch the videos and we have feedback session on every Friday!)) Ex: TeacherX_First_Teaching_Part1 / Part 2 / Part 3 Portfolio Submission: As a booklet ! In addition to tasks and notes and forms, you should also include first version of the lesson plan + last version).
