How long have you been doing it? What do you do in your free time? What subject are you weak at? Why do you want to study at this school? What is your best memory from JHS? What club did you join in JHS? Why? Do you like English? Why? Why is English important? What club do you want to join in HS? What JHS did you go to? Tell me about it. What are you interested in? What is your dream? What do you think your life will be like when you study abroad? Why do you want to study abroad? Where do you want to study abroad? Why? How can learning English help your future? What job do you want to do in the future? What do you want to do after HS? Where is the best place in Hamamatsu? Which do you prefer, summer or winter?

  4. Kita (4 students 4 interviewers): look at pictures/symbols and explain meaning (road sings) Split students into 2 teams of 2. Have them debate a topic. They have to share their opinion and should not be afraid to be the first to speak! There is a time limit and if no one speaks, the interviewers will move on.
