  2. What does the CLAS ASC do? Meeting with student to discuss major options (dual degrees/double majors/CLAS majors) Work with students on PROB/WARN/SDSM Review and make decisions on dismissal appeals Collaborate with Admissions to coordinate Fall Visit Days/UConn Bound Day Coordinate Orientation for the College Make decisions on readmission applications Work with Special populations: Students attending regional campuses but living in Storrs Campus Change Students Guaranteed Admission Program Non Degree Students National Student Exchange Students/International Students Engage with students seeking multiple withdrawals or placing multiple courses on pass/fail grade options Meet with students who missed deadlines around W and P/F Act as resource for students regarding academic questions/issues/challenges Review and make decisions on substitution requests Act as resource for advisors/faculty advisors/campus partners on advising and enrollment management concerns

  4. Biological Science Major and Minor both still list PNB 2274 and 2275 as requirements Will process one for one substitutions of PNB 2774 for 2274 and 2775 for 2274 Will work with the faculty to update 25 catalog

  5. Psychological Sciences In 2024-25 there are no more tracks. Students can earn either a BS or a BA. These degree programs have nuanced differences in Psychological Sciences requirements. BS still must complete the traditional requirements of the College.

  6. Other Major Updates Statistical Data Science/Applied Data Analysis Still has an application process Deadline Friday, Sept 20, 2024 Potential changes in the domains in 2025 Journalism No more application process. Pre-Journalism students ill be changed to JOUR after day 10

  7. Other Major Updates Geographic Information Science No longer requires 6 credits of Human and Physical Geography Student must complete at least 3 credits of a 4000-level GIS Science course
