Disability Employment Adviser We can work with people on a one-to- one basis There is a Disability Employment Adviser in every jobcentre. We can also work alongside a work coach to offer three-way appointments We help people with disabilities and health conditions to look for work
Who do we work with? In Worthing, we have also been working with educational providers, such as: CUSTOMERS AND THEIR WORK COACH PROVIDERS / CHARITIES WORK PSYCHOLOGISTS The SAND Project Northbrook College EMPLOYMENT ADVISERS SOCIAL PRESCRIBERS PAYMENT TEAMS ON UC, PIP, ESA, JSA ETC Brighton Forward
What is Universal Credit? To receive Universal Credit, you may need to: A benefit to help towards living costs Prepare for work Paid monthly Look for work For people on a low income, out of work, or people who are unable to work Increase your earnings if you are already in employment
Eligibility To claim you must: live in the UK be aged 18 or over (there are some exceptions if you re 16 to 17) be under State Pension age have 16,000 or less in money, savings and investments you can use a benefits calculator to check what benefits you could get. You may be able to get Universal Credit if you re on a low income or need help with your living costs. You could be: out of work working (including self-employed or part time) unable to work, for example because of a health condition
