Permeating the Kingdom Matthew 5:13 16
How can your light shine in spiritually dark places? How can we permeate the darkness with the light of Christ? As citizens of Christ s Kingdom, we must permeate the gospel to a lost and dying world.
Matthew 5:13 You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt should lose its taste, how can it be made salty? It s no longer good for anything but to be thrown out and trampled under people s feet.
Micah 6:8 You have been told what is good and what it is the Lord requires of you: to act justly, to love faithfulness, and to walk humbly with your God.
Matthew 5:1415 You are the light of the world. A city situated on a hill cannot be hidden. No one lights a lamp and puts it under a basket, but rather on a lampstand, and it gives light for all who are in the house.
John 3:2021 For everyone who does evil hates the light and avoids it, so that his deeds may not be exposed. But anyone who lives by the truth comes to the light, so that his works may be shown to be accomplished by God.
Psalm 119:105106 Your word is a lamp for my feet and a light on my path. I have solemnly sworn to keep your righteous judgments.
Matthew 5:16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.
1 John 1:57 This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light, and there is absolutely no darkness in him. If we say, We have fellowship with him, and yet we walk in darkness, we are lying and are not practicing the truth. If we walk in the light as he himself is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.
How will you stay salty? What will you do with the light of the gospel of Christ s Kingdom?
