  5. Modelica Environment Modelica is a Language, you need a Modelica Environment to create the models, compile the code and generate the executable. Free Environment: JModelica, OpenModelica, Commercial Environment: Dymola, SimulaionX, See https://www.modelica.org/tools for complete list This training will use Dymola. 5

  6. Installation of Modelica Environment Dymola only supports Windows and Linux. Sorry for the MAC users 1. Get Dymola Method 1: Download from http://www.3ds.com/products/catia/portfolio/dymola/demo/ Note: You have to use LBNL s wireless network for guest or download from home Method 2: Get a copy from us (350MB file, Bring you USB Stick) 2.
