Hellenic Hellenic Industrial Industrial Propert Property y Academy Academy The establishment of the Academy took place at the end of 2019. The academy aims at the development of a national education and training system in the field of industrial property. The aim is to strengthen Greek innovation through the education of future patent agents, who will have a strong technical background and skills but also have knowledge of relevant law in order to be able to draft and submit patent applications and therefore encourage and support inventors to submit their application to the Hellenic Industrial Property organization.
To fulfill its goals, the Academy will organize courses, conferences, seminars, symposia, etc., but most importantly will put in place educational programs providing space for the development of professional patent agents. Hellenic Hellenic Industrial Industrial Propert Property y Academy Academy
Hellenic Industrial Property Academy Hellenic Industrial Property Academy The Hellenic Industrial property academy will operate in collaboration with the, World Industrial Property Organization, the European Patent Academy of the European Patent Office (EPA), as well as with the European Patent Office (EPO). In addition, we are in contacts with Higher Education institutes in Greece and abroad, which are conducting related research and operating training programs and will also offer the know how in setting up educational programs of the academy. We have two active collaborations one with the European Public Law Office (the so called EPLO) and with the Greek Technical Chamber.
Continuing education program: 10 weeks lecture program: General education in IP suitable for all graduates of technological schools (polytechnic, natural sciences) with the aim of introducing to intellectual property focusing on patents. Training seminars: A series of online training seminars aimed at educating participants in the main title of industrial property, the Patent (D.E.), based on the national award process (D.E.). Apprenticeship program: In collaboration with the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE) Webinars on industrial property in collaboration with the Institute for Intellectual Property and Innovation of the European Public Law Organization (E.P.L.O). EABI Lecture Series: 1st Lecture on March 30, 2021. Collective volume with scientific studies related to industrial property with Greek authors as well as foreign scientists.
