S E N S E Your character has just arrived on this island and this will be their home for the next 2 months! Beautiful green palm trees surround them and the crystal blue ocean can be heard lapping up the shore However, with no technology to entertain them or even to ask for help. How will they cope? Their adventure lays in your hands

Sentence challenge! Find a sentence to my story starter below. At that moment, as a faint rainbow painted the sky with colour, I felt a sense of anticipation about our time on the island. 1. Can you find the subordinate clause in this sentence? 2. Can you change the subordinate clause to provide detail about a different part of the photograph? 3. Can you add an adverb to the verb painted? Does your sentence still make sense?
