JOB INSIDE THE ITALIAN LITERATURE Italy in the second half of the nineteenth century from the economic point of view is divided into two parts: While the north there were Industrial Revolution, the South still remains a agricultural country. New issues such as the uprisings of peasants and workers and the consequent repressions arise. LITERATURE: The literature is interested in the theme of the work intended as a form of exploitation and slavery (G. Verga, Rosso Malpelo ). We find the peasants represented in a land, the workers with their grueling shifts and the life turned from the factory

Italo SVEVO Una vita (sfruttamento ) Anche la piccolo-borghesia impiegatizia non vive in grande prosperit : gli avanzamenti di carriera non solo portano beneficio all immagine da presentare in societ , ma sono positivamente considerati perch arrecano guadagni maggiori, di cui si sente la necessit . Gli impiegati, come i contadini e i minatori, pur in condizioni diverse, devono far fronte a orari di lavoro e a commesse spesso gravosi. Una vita ( fabbrica ) La fabbrica ebbe un impatto devastante sull ambiente e sulle persone. La sensazione del protagonista del romanzo, giunto a Trieste dalla campagna,oltre alla comprensibile nostalgia per gli affetti pi cari, quella della pesantezza e della difficolt di respirare.

Vita dei campi : (povert ) ( campi ) Anche in questo racconto spiccano figure caratteristiche della (vita contadina) peasant life siciliana e assume il ruolo di vero protagonista, o forse sarebbe meglio dire di antagonista, il paesaggio riarso dal sole. La vita dei contadini dipende dalla terra e dalle condizioni climatiche, ma spesso messa a dura prova da una natura ostile.
