Jackson/Henderson Middle Football Parent Informational Meeting
Everyone Do Your Part! Do it right in July, so we can have a season in August! However you feel about the current Covid-19 situation, we must follow these rules/guidelines to ensure the safety of all athletes and make sure that we are able to play games this fall!
Participants Players will be sorted into 5 Groups (HS only). Players will be notified of their groups prior to workouts. 5 Groups A - group - 17 players B - group - 17 players C - group - 17 players D - group - 17 players E - group - 17 players IF MS goes over 50, we will be forced to group
Arrival at Workouts No community sharing - water fountains off, no water cows, no protein machines(HS), and NO VISITORS Parents that are dropping off student-athletes will be encouraged to wait until their child completes the check-in process. As athletes arrive, they will report to a designated area. The designated areas will be spaces marked 6 feet apart for them to wait Players will enter the field READY TO WORKOUT. No one will be allowed to dress in the locker room. Bring tennis shoes and cleats every day - NO SLIDES Locker room will be for restroom only - 1 athlete to a time.
Arrival at Workouts (cont..HS) A sack breakfast and 2 bottles of water will be provided to athletes in a spaced-out manner by our coaching staff wearing masks and gloves. Late athletes will not be admitted into the weight room until they have completed the check-in process. Coaches cannot give players rides to or from workouts under any circumstance Inclement weather plan - groups at JHS campus will move to the gym for conditioning, groups at the fieldhouse will move to the gym at the old JHS campus for conditioning. Any changes in MS workouts will be done through Team Snap
Check-In Procedure Coaches will take each players temperature with the laser thermometer. If athletes have a temperature above 99.5 parents or guardians will be notified and the student will not be allowed to participate. Coaches will ask athletes 4 health-related self-screening questions. These questions will help us to further ensure the safest possible workout environment.
General Schedule 1st hour in the weight room then 45 min conditioning on the field (HS) Middle school will be 1 and a half to 2 hours of conditioning on the field
Weight Room Procedure(HS) Masks must be worn in the weight room by everyone at all times. Please be sure to bring your mask to workouts. Weightroom equipment will be disinfected before each set. After all sets are complete, a coach will come around and spray disinfectant on the equipment and the athlete will wipe it down with a paper towel. This must be done before the athletes switch to the next rotation.
Workout Schedule(HS) Workouts will be every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday during the month of June Group A - 7:45am-9:45am at the High School Group B - 7:45am-9:45am at the Fieldhouse Group C - 10am-12pm at the High School Group D - 10am-12pm at the Fieldhouse Group E - 12:15pm-1:30pm at the Fieldhouse
