Status of each member Iimura: He has retired from JAEA in Mar. 2022. If a financial support is obtained, he can continue the evaluation. Katakura, Kanbe, Ohya: They are old. If Iimura quits the evaluation, they will also quit. Koura: Although he is busy with administrative work at JAEA, he will continue the evaluation of A=124. But he is not sure if he can continue the evaluation after A=124 is revised.
Discussions about financial support Followings are the results of discussions with responsible people at RIKEN and JAEA. RIKEN: Laboratories of RIKEN can not hire an evaluator, because employees of RIKEN have to work on scientific research. JAEA: Nuclear Data Laboratory is not going to support financially the evaluation for ENSDF. Nuclear Energy Safety Division is positive to support the evaluation because ENSDF is related to the decay heat of nuclear fuel.
Plan after this meeting I will pursue the possibility of obtaining the financial support from the nuclear energy safety division in JAEA. It will be clear in a few month whether I can obtain the financial support or not. I will inform IAEA of the result. If I fail to obtain the financial support, I will give up continuation of the Japanese group. I will discuss with NNDC how to transfer the responsible mass chains to other centers.
