  2. Monument Chemical s SP Journey Sustainable Procurement was on our ESG radar but after EcoVadis assessment, it became a priority Being below industry average is no where we want to be

  3. Our Approach 1. We worked with a consultant ClimeCo to dig deep into data 2. Learned more about EcoVadis Plan-Do-Check- Act assessments 3. Went to work closing gaps

  4. Closing Gaps Document what we do Publicize what we do Set Supplier Expectations Conduct Supplier Risk Analysis Audit Suppliers (future) Educate Suppliers (future)

  5. Policy Development Approach Align to critical SOCMA best practices Reference commitment to United Nations Global Compact Incorporate Monument s new Sustainability 1-pager. Aligned with our parent company s strategies

  6. In Process All suppliers must comply with all relevant social and environmental laws and regulations. Suppliers must also commit to the principles outlined in Monument Chemical s Supplier Code of Conduct. Suppliers will respond to a questionnaire affirming performance on ESG topics. Currently assessing tools to ensure Supplier compliance Our sustainability commitment reflects Monument s core commitment to doing the right thing for our employees, their families, our neighbors, and the environment.
