  2. C H Y S C J U N I O R B A S E B A L L CHYSC Junior Baseball is an inclusive player development league focused on learning the fundamentals of the game, growing as young players, and having fun. Open to Boys and Girls of all skill levels ages 5-12, the players age as of April 30, 2024 determines the division a child is eligible to play in. Quickball Ages 5-6 Rookie League Ages 7-8 Minor League Ages 9-10 Major League Ages 11-12

  3. Q U I C K B A L L A G E S 5 - 6 Popular alternative to T-Ball Very successful program at CHYSC since transitioning from T-Ball to Quickball Core Concepts Rapid Rotation Inclusiveness Pitch to Hit Keep it Moving Everybody contributes Never Boring

  4. R O O K I E B A L L A G E S 7 - 8 Fundamental skill development Focus on individual skill development while starting to learn some of the team aspects of the game Machine pitch No walks or strikes maximum of six pitches No leads or stealing bases Standings kept with playoffs

  5. M I N O R S A G E S 9 - 1 0 Continue to build on the individual skills learned in Rookie Ball, while introducing more rules and elements of team play. Kid pitch pitch count kept by coaches for player safety 45 ft mound distance 60 ft bases No leads, but stealing 2ndand 3rdbase permitted when pitched ball crosses home plate Standings kept with playoffs

  6. M A J O R S A G E S 1 1 - 1 2 Continue to build on the skills learned in the Minors League, while introducing additional rules and elements of team play. 50 ft mound distance, 75 ft bases Leads allowed stealing bases allowed Standings will be kept with playoffs
