Introduction to KCSS and the Resource Center Introduction to KCSS and the Resource Center The center s mission shall be to serve as the central point for data analysis; research; dissemination of information about successful school safety programs, research results, and new programs; and, in collaboration with the Department of Education and others, to provide technical assistance for safe schools. Enacted April 10, 1998 The Kentucky Center for School Safety Resource Center has 3 goals. 1. To provide resources. 2. To provide training. 3. To provide guidance. We are here to serve the schools of the Commonwealth.

  3. Introduction to Patricia Greer Introduction to Patricia Greer Patricia Greer is the new Director of the Resource Center for the Kentucky Center for School Safety. She served as the Director of Pupil Personnel for Marshall County Schools from July 2020 to August 2022. Previously, she served as principal of Marshall County High School from October 2017 until June 2020, Ms. Greer was an assistant principal at Marshall County High School from July 2012 - September 2017. She also taught math at Marshall County High School from July 2003 - June 2012. Ms. Greer is a member of NASSP and a founding member of the Principal Recovery Network. She is also a member of KASA and has participated in The Leadership Challenge through KASA.

  7. KCSS Services KCSS Services KCSS provides trainings to schools, districts and educational cooperatives. Training Page (Threat Assessment, Bullying Prevention, Gatekeeper, etc.,) KCSS will develop a training if you have a need. KCSS provides Safe School Assessments. KCSS has numerous resources on the website. KCSS has a principal mentoring program.
