18thMeeting of the Data Quality Working Group Cross-check results of and recommendations on DQ chapters of S-104, and S-111 Agenda Item 3.3C DQWG-18, Monaco, 7- 9 February 2023
1. INTRODUCTION According to Action DQWG 16/04 and DQWG 17/06, Data Quality Working Group has reviewed the data quality elements of S-104 and S-111.
2. RESULTS OF CROSS CHECK OF DQ CHAPTERS 2.1 S-104 The review results of the DQ chapter of S-104 are as follows: Recommendations S-104 Y N/A Y Y N/A Y Y Y Y Y 1.Completeness 2.Conceptual consistency 3. Domain consistency 4. Format consistency 5. consistency 6. Positional Accuracy 7. Thematic Accuracy 8. Temporal Quality 9. Aggregation 10. Introduction to DQ Paragraph Y=YES, N=NO, N/A=not application NOTES: The DQ chapter of S-104 lacks a detailed description of each data quality element.
2. RESULTS OF CROSS CHECK OF DQ CHAPTERS 2.2 S-111 The review results of the DQ chapter of S-111 are as follows: Recommendations S-111 Y N N N N/A Y Y Y Y N 1.Completeness 2.Conceptual consistency 3. 3. ACTION The TWCWG is requested to: a. Note the information provided; b. Take any actions to improve the DQ chapters of S-104 and S-111 based on the recommended template of Data Quality chapter of S-1xx Data Product Specifications developed by DQWG.
ACTIONS REQUESTED FROM THE SUBWG The DQWG is requested to: a. Review and Approve the document.
