Language Feature bingo! To play: - Draw a 3x3 grid in your notes. There should be nine squares to fill in. - In each box, write down the name of a language feature. You should have nine different language features on your page. - Your teacher will read out an example of a language feature. If you have written down the name of the language feature that you think this is an example of, write the example your teacher read in the box. - Put your hand up when you get a line (only horizontal or vertical) or BINGO (full house!)! - You will be expected to check your answers with your teacher in order to win.
Language Feature bingo! 1. You can help the environment by car sharing with friends. 2. The car was an absolute steal! 3. I d shopped around looking at the new models at the local showroom, car dealerships and private adverts online 4. A further 22% identified as having been victims of online attacks this week. 5. Dr Abraham said that COVID cases have risen by forty per cent in the last three months. 6. He disappeared as fast as lightning! 7. Peer pressure promotes accidents and addictions! 8. Reduce, Reuse and Recycle! 9. We re selling essential items at a discounted price as the cost of living has risen so high and made life harder for so many. 10. You should make sure that you store your valuables out of sight. 11. I believe that the way forward is to prioritise our children and their future. This is their world, after all. 12.
