Tiger What type of text is this? How do we know? Majestic and proud, He elegantly stalks through the jungle. Fur as orange as the blazing sun, Striped like a prison cell. Is this poem a free verse of fixed verse? How do we know? What do these sentences mean? Silent and alone, He dutifully guards his territory. Eyes like tiny balls of gold, Piercing through darkness. Fur as orange as the blazing sun Eyes like tiny balls of gold Teeth bared like daggers Muscular and powerful, He effortlessly captures his prey. Teeth bared like daggers, A warning to others. Find three similes in this text 1. 2. Strong and lean, 3. He spreads himself on a silent rock. Sleep embracing him like a blanket, His hunger quenched. Create a new sentence or two for this poem.
