Learning from Incidents What is learning from incidents?
Learning from Incidents Definition A form of organisational learning using accidents and near-misses as an input. The aim of LFI is to prevent future incidents. Often discussed in relation to high-risk industries such as aviation and the energy sector. It involves learning at multiple levels: individuals, teams, networks, and organisations. 3
