During the years 1495-1498 Leonardo worked on the fresco "The Last Supper" in the monastery of Santa Maria delle Grazie in Milan. In 1499 Milan was captured by French troops of Louis XII, Leonardo left Milan Sforza model of the monument was badly damaged. 1502 Leonardo entered the service of Cesare Borgia, 1503 da Vinci returned to Florence, where competed with Michelangelo, but had him collaborations.
