Rain (Poem) Rain - rain go away Come again another day Little baby wants to play.
Rainbow We see rainbow on sky after rain. Rainbow has seven colours-Violet, Indigo, Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange and Red.
Answers the following questions (a) How did Appu know that the banana trees needed water ? (b) Appu drank water from the river til was happy. Have you seen animals dinking water? Where? (c) Have you ever given water to any animal? If yes, which animal? (d)Have you ever seen a rainbow?When?
Tick the correct answer. (a) We see rainbow before/after it rains. (b) Clouds condense/evaporate to give rains. (c) We see 7/10 colours in a rainbow. (d) Rainy clouds are white/grey.
ACTIVITY Draw a Rainbow. Also write the colours of rainbow.
Summary of the lesson Rain is very useful for our life. It is also useful for plants and animals. But more rain bring flood. Flood is very harmful for human life.
