- They were all virgins (QUALITY) - We all have lamps (POTENTIAL) what differentiates us is the level of oil in our lamps - Five virgins took lamps and not oil (FOCUS/ PREPAREDNESS) - The oil in our lamps determine how long (CAPACITY) one can wait (survive) - They all had money (RESOURCES) for the oil but five operated in ignorance - They all slept/ slumbered (WEAKNESS) - LOSS - some were left out
