Leveraging Partnerships for Maximizing Employment in Homeless Initiatives
HealthNet's Homeless Initiative Program (HIP) focuses on assisting homeless individuals in Marion County to achieve holistic health by providing medical homes, safe housing, and community support services. The program has a significant impact, as shown by the decrease in the homeless population, particularly among veterans. Through partnerships and funding, HIP has been successful in reintegration and securing housing for homeless veterans, offering employable skills and direct job placements.
