Character A person, animal, or creature in the story.
Fiction A type of writing that is made up by the author s imagination.
Index A list in alphabetical order with references to where the subject can be found.
Catalog A registry of items found in a library.
Renew To extend the period of loan of a library item.
Overdue Past the assigned due date that a item should be returned to the library.
Atlas An assortment of grouped maps.
Biography The written account of another human being s life story.
Cause The reason an action occurs.
Effect What is produced as a result of a cause.
Classify To assign a classification to something and organize according to the classification.
Dictionary Contains a language s words, along with their definition.
