  2. Small, inflamed bumps on the tongue (swollen fungiform papillae) What Are Lie Bumps? May appear red or white, commonly on the tip or sides Benign, self-limiting; typically resolve in 1 3 days

  3. Forms & Duration Types (from medical literature): Classic (1 2 bumps) Papulokeratotic (many, non-painful) U-shaped / eruptive (may last up to 15 days) Generalized: widespread across the tongue Localized: restricted areas only

  4. Symptoms TINY RED/WHITE RAISED BUMPS DISCOMFORT, BURNING, TINGLING, AND SENSITIVITY TO SPICY/SOUR FOODS RARE CASES: EXCESS SALIVA, MILD FEVER
