(I Sam. 2:1, 16, 22, Eph. 5:22-33) Base men Knew not God Greedy Selfish Fornicators
IMPORTANT CHOICES IN LIFE IMPORTANT CHOICES IN LIFE Do you DISCIPLINE your children or just COMPLAIN ? (I Sam. 2:24, 3:13; Prov. 13:24, 22:15; Eph. 6:4) Do you live a HOLY LIFE according to the WORD or just RELY ON SYMBOLS? (I Sam. 4:3-4, 5-11, 2 Tim. 2:15, James 1:21) I Sam. 3:15-19 But dedicated Samuel did the hard thing and overcame his fear established as a true prophet of God.

Living in the evil world Living in the evil world The world hates the light and those who live godly lives (Jn. 7:7, 3:19-20, 2 Tim. 3:12) The world speaks evil of those who walk with God instead of running with the crowd (I Peter 4:4) The world does not honor the Christian glorify God in this name in suffering persecution (I Peter 4:12-16) Ponder this : If the righteous are scarcely saved, where shall the ungodly and sinner appear? (I Peter 4:18)

The number of Americans ages 65 and older is projected to nearly double from 52 million in 2018 to 95 million by 2060 and the 65-and-older age group s share of the total population will rise from 16 percent to 23 percent.
Why is life difficult in old age ? Why is life difficult in old age ? Two issues: Men losing masculinity ; Women losing beauty of youth Fear of losing independence time for requiting in children (I Tim. 5:4) Losing the energy of youth
Reality Check: Forsake me not when my strength faileth (v.9) 1. Take Refuge in the Lord instead of offense in in our troubles (v.1, 9a, Eccl. 12:1-8, v.12) 2. Lean on God who has given us hope from our youth (v.5, 2 Cor. 4:16-18 ) 3. Speak unto God more and more with all the praise of His Greatness less room for murmuring in our present condition (v.6, 14) 4. Speak unto others of God s works of righteousness (v.15, 17-18, Psm. 92:14)
