PLOT When Duncan started to read more of the journal and wanted to do something about it. -The conflict was internal and external. - The introduction was a bit slow however after a bit the story gradually got better. When Duncan started to read more of the journal and wanted to do something about it. The falling action is when Duncan is talking with the doctors and his parents because it starts to rap everything up and answer all most of my questions. The conclusion was when Vinny and Duncan went swimming and Duncan wasn't haunted by maya. When Duncan found roach's journal and started reading it

CHARACTERS -PROTAGONIST WAS DUNCAN -ANTAGONIST WAS ROACH OR SCOTT WEBER - DUNCAN TURNED FROM NOT BELIEVING IN HIMSELF, TO A FULL OUT HERO SAVING PEOPLE FROM WHAT WAS TO COME, IN THE NEAR FUTURE. - DUNCAN STARTED OFF BEING A GUY WHO FOUND A CLUE, BUT WHEN REALITY HIT HIM, HE STOPPED AT NOTHING TO PUT ROACH BEHIND BARS.

  4. SETTING THE STORY TAKES PLACE IN TORONTO AT THE SUBWAY STATION DUNCAN WORKS IN THE LOST AND FOUND OF THE SUBWAY STATION SOME KEY PLACES WHERE DUNCAN GOES IS THE DAIRY BARN, THE LOST AND FOUND AND THE "JUNGLE"

  5. THEME -DUNCAN LEARNED NOT TO LET PEOPLE BRING HIM DOWN -THE THEME IS SORT OF SUSPENSEFUL -THE BOOK IS VERY ACTION PACKED -THE HIDDEN MESSAGE IS TO NOT LET OLD MISTAKES HAUNT YOU AND INFLUENCE YOUR FUTURE CHOICES, HOWEVER YOU NEED TO LISTEN TO WHAT YOU THINK IS RIGHT.

  6. CONCLUSION THE WRITING STYLE OF THE AUTHOR MADE IT VERY INTERESTING. I THOUGHT IT WAS A GREAT BOOK FOR A LIT CIRCLE DISCUSSION AND DEFINITELY STIRS UP CONVERSATION. I ALSO THOUGHT THE ENDING WAS VERY CONCLUSIVE AND ENDED OFF THE STORY ON A GOOD NOTE. BECAUSE OF HOW GOOD THIS BOOK WAS I WOULD DEFINITELY READ ANOTHER ONE BY THIS AUTHOR.
