Our bodies must be living sacrifices Holy Acceptable unto God OUR REASONABLE SERVICE! Romans 12:1
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Being conformed to this world is to be conformed to something that was never intended to be eternal. The human mind is so easily swayed toward the evils of this world. Instead, it must be TRANSFORMED by the renewing of our mind the making new again which must be day by day. 2 Corinthians 4:16 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.
Romans 12:3 Humility is REQUIRED of all of us! Each of us have some measure of faith (i.e., abilities). Consider spiritual gifts They differed according to God s desire: Hebrews 2:1-4 1 Corinthians 12: 1 - 11
Each of us are a PART of the body of Christ., but we do NOT share the same office (position; role of work). NO part is more important than another for each must perform his/her duty in order for the other members to acceptably perform their duty! The SPIRITUAL GIFTS differed; but the PURPOSE was the same. Today, SAME CARE ONE FOR ANOTHER is essential!
The union of LOVE permits these individual parts of the body to work together in harmony for the furtherance of the gospel. 1. We cannot be hypocritical in word or deed. We must HATE evil and cleave to GOOD. 2. We must be kindly affectioned to each other with brotherly love; preferring one another with honor. 3. We cannot be lazy, but rather fervent in serving God. 4. We must rejoice in hope, be patient in trials, and constant in prayer. 5. We must care for the saints, being given to hospitality.
Our conduct toward others must include 1. Blessing of those who persecute us; blessing and not cursing! 2. Rejoicing with those who rejoice and weeping with those who weep. 3. Being of the same mind (in full agreement) one toward another. Be humble and do not consider the things too high for most to attain. Neither be arrogant in thinking yu can attain what others cannot. LOWER YOURSELF TO HELP THE OTHER SOUL RISE UP. DON T BE ARROGANT. 4. Do not return evil for evil. Be honest in your dealings with all men!
If possible, as much as is possible WITH YOU, live peaceably with all men! We cannot avenge ourselves THAT S GOD S JOB! If you enemy is hungry, feed him. If he is thirsty, give him something to drink. Such actions of love and kindness are like heaping coals of fire on him. Don t let evil get the best of you; instead, overcome evil by doing good!
