  5. LRC Architect RFP Award for Architectural & Engineering Services The District issued an RFP for Architectural Design of the Learning Resources Center on February 15, 2019 for the Kentfield Campus. A Selection Committee made up of 16 members (4 classified staff, 4 faculty, 4 administrators, 2 students and 2 community members) was established. The following thirteen firms submitted proposals to the District for consideration on April 5, 2019: Perkins Eastman Dougherty Group 4 / HMC Carrier+Johnson / Cultur3 LCA Architects / Richard+Bauer DLR Group Kwan Henmi / Noll & Tam Architects LPA / Brick ELS / CambridgeSeven LPAS / Bohlin Cywinski Jackson gouldevans TLCD Architecture / Mark Cavagnero Associates HED WRNS Studio HGA

LRC Architect RFP Award for Architectural & Engineering Services From the thirteen proposals received, the Selection Committee chose the following eight firms to move forward for interviews which took place on June 19, 2019: LPAS Perkins Eastman Dougherty TLCD / Mark Cavagnero Associates Group 4 / HMC Carrier+Johnson DLR Group Kwan Henmi WRNS Studio LPA / Brick

LRC Architect RFP Award for Architectural & Engineering Services The Selection Committee asked Administration to consider the top two firms to move forward for additional follow-up questions and interaction with the senior executive staff of the District. The following two firms were selected to move on to a final interview which was held on July 25, 2019: LPA / Brick Group 4 / HMC Following a careful review by staff which included checking references for both shortlisted A&E teams, the Superintendent/President recommends the Board of Trustees award the contract for Architectural & Engineering Design Services for the Design of the new Learning Resources Center to Group 4 / HMC. Upon approval from the Board of Trustees, staff will proceed to work on a Professional A&E Design Services contract with District's legal counsel, Stradling, Yocca, Carlson and Rauth.
