TSC LWY TSC LWY Regional Delivery Regional Delivery 2019 2019- -2020 2020 Amanda Bennett, TSC representative Gill Robinson, TSC representative Angela Holdsworth, TSC representative September 2019
Rationale Rationale The TSC regions of Lancashire and West Yorkshire (LWY) combined in September 2017. The TSC lead representative, whose TSA is based in West Yorkshire, has lead the region as a whole since January 2018; there is a second TSC representative based in Blackburn with Darwen, in the Blackpool & Lancashire region. Together they will deliver national DfE TSC commissions, of note the current School Improvement offer and the role out of Teaching School Hubs in the pilot phase via a system led approach. In 2019/20 the LWY TSC offer will require specific dedicated development and delivery teams in order to realise outcomes. These teams will have central educational experts, sub-regional intelligence, development practitioners and delivery members assessing and matching to needs. These teams will also have dedicated facilitators and operational managers, as well as communication, general financial, business administration and event management. TSC LWY The LWY TSC will continue to work in close partnership with the NW School improvement Board which includes representatives from DfE OAs, DfE RSC, RDD, senior regional Ofsted, EEF, NCETM and DCS from all 25 LAs and 12 CE and RC dioceses. In turn our stakeholders come together in four regional sub groups reflecting the make up of the NW and WY areas. The TSC in LWY is able to drive the TSC commissions by effectively harnessing the strategic support of both system leaders (TSAs, NLEs, NLGs) and professional delivery partners (Maths hubs, Research Schools, English hubs etc.)
