MaineCare ED Collaborative: Improving Emergency Care Utilization
MaineCare implemented the ED Collaborative to reduce unnecessary ED visits by high utilizers, enhance care management, and promote primary care resources. The program aims to empower members and educate providers, with a dedicated care management team addressing barriers such as homelessness and substance abuse.
