CALENDAR 2023-24 MAJLIS ATFALUL AHMADIYYA UK VERSION 1.5- LAST UPDATED- 22 FEBRUARY 2024
Introduction to this Calendar Introduction to this Calendar This is a Calendar created of National events that will be held in the year. This calendar should help Qiadats and regions plan their local and Regional Activities. Those activities that are national and will be involving the whole country, local Qiadats and regions should not hold their regional and local events for Atfal that day. Each event has a note given with to it under that month s calendar page which mentions whether that particular event requires for you not to hold other events for Atfal that day.

REGIONAL Calendar events to plan in ADDITION to those in the calendar: REGIONAL Calendar events to plan in ADDITION to those in the calendar: (Below events need to be planned by the regions and added to the regional calendar. Each Qiadat should edit this calendar and add their Qiadat events.) 1) Each region should hold a monthly regional Amila meeting (Amoomi) 2) 1 Monthly regional Let s talk session online/in-person. Let s Talk session is a Q&A session. (Tarbiyyat) 3) Namaz behind Huzoor according to the Tarbiyyat Schedule. This will be shared by the National Tarbiyyat department (Tarbiyyat) 4) 1 regional trip/excursion to a place of interest/fun for Atfal (Tarbiyyat) 5) 2 Regional over-night stays at the mosque. Those regions that do not have a Mosque should organise an additional trip (point number 4 above) instead of the over-night stays. (Tarbiyyat) 6) Every region should hold regional weekly sports sessions (Sehat-e-Jismani) 7) 1 Regional Football league during the year at least (Sehat-e-Jismani) 8) Every region should hold 1 regional Charity Challenge event to raise funds for the Gambia Model Village, such as a charity walk. See the Charity Challenge campaign on www.Atfal.org.uk/Charity (Khidmat-e-Khalq) 9) 1 regional Tree-planting session (Waqar-e-Amal)
LOCAL Calendar events to plan in ADDITION to those in the calendar: LOCAL Calendar events to plan in ADDITION to those in the calendar: (Below events need to be planned by the Qiadats and added to the Qiadat calendar. Each Qiadat should edit this calendar and add their Qiadat events.) 1) Every Qiadat should hold weekly classes and sports (Regional classes/sports can be counted as local if Atfal are being encouraged to attend those and the local Nazim or his representative attends the session.) 2) Every Qiadat should visit a care home twice in the year as part of Khidmat-e-Khalq initiative. (Khidmat-e- Khalq) 3) Every Qiadat should organise 2 local Charity Challenge events to raise funds for the Gambia Model Village called Mureh Kunda. See www.Atfal.org.uk/charity. The events can include cake-sales at the local mosque or other ideas that can be done locally such as bucket cash collections. (Khidmat-e-Khalq) 4) Every Qiadat should arrange the local Ahadith Quiz as mentioned in the calendar in June/July. (Talim) 5) Hold a class on the theme of the following days: Seeratun-Nabi (sa) Jalsa, Musleh Maud day, Promised Messiah Day, Khilafat Day. 6) Hold one extra-curricular excursion to a place of interest/fun for Atfal. 7) Other campaigns that are not event-based will also be running that Qiadats will be informed about.
