Information Session Application Stage
Who can apply? Maltese national; Be a citizen in the EU living and working in Malta or has been granted long term residence for the past 5 years, in possession of residence document; Be applying for a new course throughout 2025 of not less than 9 months Be already in a programme of studies at MQF Level 5, or MQF Level 6 or MQF Level 7, or MQF Level 8 with end date of studies in 2026 or after. Applicants shall be 11 years of age and over.

Arts Application Forms one (1) copy of Curriculum Vitae (Mandatory). one (1) copy of the applicant s University/College transcripts (where applicable); one (1) copy of the letter of Unconditional Letter of Acceptance from the Recognised Institution applied for (if available at the time of application); one (1) copy of MQRIC evaluation report (if available at the time of application) if one has already applied the MQRIC receipt is required; one (1) copy of a personal profile report as per sample provided in the web page of Malta Arts Scholarships. (Mandatory) For applicants under 18 years of age, the Personal Profile Report must be signed by the parent / legal guardian. (Mandatory where applies)
Portfolio not more than 3 minutes in length each and those in visual Those in performing arts must produce 3 videoclips of arts must produce their best work such as images of paintings not more than 3Mb. This is mandatory. Hint for performers Upload videoclips on google drive, copy link on a word document, save as pdf and attach to application.
Awarding Stage Awards under the Malta Arts Scholarships Scheme are made in two components: Tuition Fees and a Fulltime Abroad Allowance amounting to 3000 for each academic year. Each of these awards is described in the following sections; Part-timers will receive the sum entitled for tuition fees. Part-Time / Blended Flexi / Distance learning ; NO Fulltime Abroad Allowance Tuition Fees only.
Grant per Level of Programme Start Date Modality Max duration Scholarship Tuition Fees up to 5,000 for the whole duration of programme. 24 Months Training programmes Throughout 2025 Full-time 3000 for each academic year. Awards under the Malta Arts Tuition Fees up to 5,000 for the whole duration of programme. 3000 for each academic year. Scholarships Scheme are made Throughout 2025 12 Months MQF level 5 Full-time in two components: Tuition Fees and a Fulltime Abroad Allowance amounting to 3000 Tuition Fees up to 5,000 for the whole duration of programme. Throughout 2025 24 Months for each academic year. Those who are found eligible for the schemes are called for an interview/audition Besides the requested documents, those in the performance industry need to prepare as well for an audition as stipulated by the regulations of this Scholarship scheme.
