Mamhtawisiwin: The wonder we are born with When we are born into this world, we come with a gift with which to help the people live a good life. A person becomes okihcite (great heart) when they begin to share the gift. A person who goes above and beyond in sharing their gift and connects people to the root of their existence is referred to as "e-mamahtawisit." Mamahtawisiwin is the noun form. 2
