Definitions Checks Checks are the types of background checks that a volunteer could potential need to complete in order to volunteer within the county. i.e. Criminal Check, Driver s Check, etc. Credentials Credentials are the types of questions asked for each Check. In order for a volunteer to fully pass the Check, they must meet each Credential. Status Status is the final status reached by the volunteer for each Check once all of the Credentials are satisfied and the actual Check itself is complete. This is referred to as Pre-Requisite Level inside eCoordinator.
Conclusion Some tips and reminders: Statuses are important to vet your volunteers for service within your agency and the County. You may give a volunteer multiple checks within their profile. Only enter information in the credential box that is appropriate for you. Do not change credential boxes that are filled out by other County Departments. i.e. DHR. Set up and use grids within the Status tab to watch the status results for your volunteers. You can have multiple columns in one grid or multiple grids.
