  2. OBJETIVO DE APRENDIZAJE DE PRIORIZACIN CURRICULAR. Utilizar su conocimiento del Ingl s en la comprensi n y producci n de textos orales y escritos breves y claros. Indicador de evaluaci n Identifican preguntas indirectas en diferentes tiempos verbales

  3. PRESENTE SIMPLE Direct:Where is Market Street? Indirect: Could you tell me where Market Street is? In indirect questions with is/are,the verb (is) comes after the subject (Market Street). DirectWhat time does the bank open? Indirect: Do you know what time the bank opens? In indirect questions, we don t use the auxiliary verbs do/does/did.Also, you can see that the verb is open in the direct question, and opens in the indirect question

  4. PASADO SIMPLE Direct:Why did you move to Europe? ( Por qu te mudaste a Europa? Indirect:I was wondering why you moved to Europe. ( me preguntaba por qu te mudaste a Europa Again, there is no auxiliary verb did in the indirect question. In fact, this indirect question isn t even a question it s more of a statement that invites the other person to give more information. ( en pasado simple en la pregunta indirecta no se usa auxiliar did, usas verbo en pasado simple)

  5. TIEMPOS VERBALES What are you going to do tomorrow? ( future con going to ) Could you tell me what you are going to do tomorrow. Will he go to London next year?( futuro con will) I don t know if you will go to London next year Who has won the car race? (presente perfecto) Can you tell me who has won the car race. Where was the concert? (pasado simple) I don t remember where the concert was

  6. Types of Questions DIRECT QUESTIONS (common questions) INDIRECT QUESTIONS (more polite and personal) Structure Wh + axuliary verb + subject + verb + object? Opening phrase + WH word / if + affirmative form Where does he live ? Can you tell me( opening phrase) where he lives? Examples Did he go to London? Do you have any idea (opening phrase) if he went to London? Examples of OPENING PHRASES Can I ask you ? Could you tell me..? - Do you have any idea .? - Would you mind telling me ? - What / why/where/ who / do you think .? - I was wondering / I wonder - I d be interested to know - I d like to know . - Would it be possible ? - Is there any chance ? -
