You want your program to grow in the future not shrink Research and Segment Your Donors Prospect research can help you better understand your community and determine appropriate ask amounts Focus on Engagement and Relationships Listen to parents, get them involved and allow them an opportunity to build community. It ll make asking easier Provide Compelling and Informative Materials Help parents understand why it s important to donate and make it easy for them to find answers to questions Invest Time in a Volunteer Program Volunteers build long lasting relationships, better understand fundraising needs, and are great solicitors People have to be asked.
