CHRONIC DISEASES JUST TO NAME ONE-HYPERTENSION 32% (1 IN EVERY 3 ADULTS) OF AMERICANS HAVE HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE NEARLY 44% OF AFRICAN AMERICAN MEN AND 48% OF AFRICAN AMERICAN WOMEN HAVE SOME FORM OF CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASE THAT INCLUDES HEART DISEASE AND STROKE. HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE IS THE LEADING CAUSE OF HEART ATTACK AND STROKE IN THE US.
